What we keep

Everything slopped.site keeps, site by site. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Almost all of it stays in your browser, and you can clear it any time by clearing this site’s data. The few things a server keeps are below.

This page is generated from the code: a script reads every site for what it stores, and the build fails if something isn’t listed here.

GeoCities keeps a visit count for each homepage. No personal data: a page id and a number. No IP address, cookie or user agent is stored.
Top keeps how many times each thing was saved, in total and for the last week. No personal data: item ids and counts. The rate limit hashes your IP address with a random salt in memory only; it is never written down.
The Slop Curriculum keeps how much of the day’s free AI allowance the labs used, a count of today’s lab attempts per visitor, and the badges you claim. Personal data only if you claim a badge, and only what you put on it: the name you typed, and a salted hash of your email if you gave one. A badge is a public credential by design (anyone with its link can verify it). Rate limiting keeps a daily-rotating, truncated hash of your IP for two days.
Cloudflare, which hosts every site, sees each request like any web host. For slopped.site, Scroll, Games, The Slop Curriculum, The Slopwright, Backrooms, Codex, Meinong’s jungle, GeoCities, Fractals, Lineage, Top it keeps request logs (time, address, status, rough location) for a few days so problems can be fixed. We don’t add anything to them or use them for anything else.
